Summer '24 Research Design Proposal

This summer, we had to present possible qualitative research designs that could potentially lead to our dissertations in the fall. To no one's surprise, mine was about automated feedback and how I would design a qualitative study to help students become better programmers. I realized later in the week that I really want to do a design-based research project, which is why this proposal did not feel right as either qualitative or quantitative. I will have to do more research to ensure that is what I want to do, but I think it seems to be the right choice for now.
